The wool is dense. You'll feel the weight and softness the moment you pick it up. Each hide is sourced from longwool sheep in Yorkshire, where the climate and breed produce a naturally thick, resilient fleece. That's what gives our rugs their depth, the pile is 6cm, noticeably deeper than other sheepskins on the market.
